Marco Dings is a member of the Joomla Production Leadership Team which is responsible for overall project management and coordination.

After a long professional career in technology Marco Dings started his own business in software and consultancy using the Joomla CMS. Marco is currently co founder, and director of Viryagroup. Marco enjoys porting over the processes and best practices from embedded and consumer electronics software development to the world of the web and CMS.

Marco co-runs the usergroup JUG-zuidoost in NL, contributed to the joomla magazine, was a member of the Joomla Code Style Code Sprint in Madrid and has also contributed Bug Fixes to Joomla in the past. As a self-confessed architect he is looking forward to contributing to the Joomla future releases.

Marco loves new technologies and likes to talk on a wide range of subjects from design, front-end development, programming to processes and project management. This has included giving several well received talks to the Joomla community in recent years, including in using Multilingual, LESS and SVGs.
